“To sail with Trish Baily on the Beneteau 50
Serendipity is to share her knowledge and enthusiasms for sailing, for bird
watching, for hiking, for snorkeling, for unusual anchorages that allow these
activities to happen, and above all, for coral-reef ecology and preservation.
. . . Trish’s version of eco-chartering. . . encompasses
the best of all possible worlds – plenty of sailing ( the wheel is yours if
you want it), plenty of walking ashore, and a snorkel on every reef.”
Amy Ullrich - “Cruising the Food Chain” SAIL

“Tortola looked wild as we sailed
along the sparsely populated North Coast. We anchored
in Brewer’s Bay, alone, over a wedge of sandy bottom flanked by shallow
reefs. Off the point to the north we swam through curtains of small fry
suspended in the water. They opened a passageway for us. And then opened
again as five tarpon circled, 4 ft long, full bodied fish with burnished
scales and down-turned mouths like herrings."
Tom Zydler. Feature article

Cooking and Provisioning:
If you desire, Trish will go over your menu plan and provisioning list ahead
of time to assist you in helping your budget and dietary needs. If you
choose, when you arrive your provisions can be on board, stowed and chilled.
The boat has large refrigerator/freezer capacity, a cooler on deck for
drinks, a 3 burner propane stove and oven and a good selection of cooking
equipment so that food preparation on board can be fun, and easy. There is a
large charcoal BBQ on the stern.
Trish keeps the boat stocked with a
wide variety of herbs and spices and condiments that you are welcome to use.
AND - Trish will bake the bread - a Serendipity specialty - and is also not
adverse turning out a slab of Brownies if you need a chocolate fix.
